2007 after his mothers death Kanyes life took a major turn, it seemed as if he was angry at the world but it was never ending it seemed like. His mother Donda West was his best friend and had been his inspiration behind many moments in his career.
Jump ahead to 2009 VMA's. Taylor Swift had just won Best Female Video above Beyoncé's "single ladies" Swift was just beginning her acceptance speech when Kayne interrupted her and said "Yo Taylor, im really happy for you, ill let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time.
Swift was seen backstage crying as West was booted from the venue. This wasn't the first or the last time Kanye can be found in the spotlight for the wrong thing. Lets just hope he gets it together and stays in his own lane.
I knew about him rudely interrupting Taylor Swift, but I had no idea that he was grieving his mother's death and for so long. This post allows readers to view him from a new perspective which is important.
ReplyDeleteI also knew about the Taylor Swift incident, and I knew that his mother had died, but I did not know that he had taken it so hard. Which he has every right to take it hard considering it was his mother. I enjoyed reading this post!
